Well

We are in interesting times right now.

COVID-19, this is wildfire. Feeling for the world right now.

As of Monday, hosts at CFCR were asked not to come in, so therefore, I won't be in hosting the Wednesday Buzz until further notice.

The staff is standing in currently.

So still listen, please! Music is good for the soul.

You can still get a membership online!

Take care and be kind,

k

So, I had a first-time cool opportunity this weekend, I hosted Couleurs Café, CFCR's Francophone music show! I am not 100% fluent, but would consider myself highly functional. It was mildly scary, but fun, aside from new-phone induced technical difficulties at the beginning. Haha.

Say It

Hi hi,

I hosted The Buzz a day early this week!

At the top of the hour, I chatted with a local high school student who just won a huge award for her future schooling! Kylie Flynn, a student at Marion M. Graham applied for the Loran Award after encouragement earlier this year, and after a couple rounds of interviews, found out last week she was one of only 36 students across Canada who got the honour. She plans to study psychiatry. It was so cool to chat with her! I also found out that her mother had won the Teachers Building Leaders Award years ago, so this is a full circle moment for their family!

Aside from that awesome chat, I featured some new-ish tunes. Twas a fun one.

les oiseaux – Pomme
Years In The Making – Arkells
Sunflower – Dizzy
