Some cool tidbits:

  • Michael Rault is headlining our Membership Drive Kick-off show.
  • The Sheepdogs, Karpinka Brothers are going to grace the stage at Regina Folk Fest this summer! Proud of my K-Bro pals! :)
  • The Wooden Sky, Megan Nash, and Rae Spoon will be a part of the amazing festival that is MoSo.
  • Close Talker was at SXSW last week.
  • I learned about this beautiful song by Lakefield after meeting a super cool dude last week who likes Canadian music as much as I do. Check it out! (They've broken up, but they were hella good!)
  • Megan Nash released a new and stunning album last week. This gal rules!

Well, that's it for now. I've got a nutty week ahead so if I make it to Thursday, I'll talk to you then! (Haha, sorry for the dramatics.)

Take care,

Our membership drive is coming up very soon, running from April 6-17. This current year's card expires March 31, and there will be lots of opportunities to obtain a new one with the many events planned throughout the duration of the drive.

Our kickoff show is sure to be an amazing time, as Michael Rault will be gracing the stage (yay!!) along with Calgary's Electric Revival and Saskatoon's Triplophonics.

Why be a member? We'll you'd be showing your support for an awesome non-profit based community radio station, you get discounts at local businesses, you have the chance to win lots of prize draws, and well... why not?

Be sure to check out the cool links I shared, including a video featured on Much Music of Slow Down, Molasses. Teenage me who watched that station frequently and shows like The Wedge would have thought it was so cool to see a local band on "The Nation's Music Station." (Do they still call it that?)

Anyway, talk to you the 19th.
