Well, the first month of 2016 is almost done. Today's show was all over the place, but I had fun putting this one together. Lotsa Sasky goodness, some rock, some folk, and some non-traditional picks. T'was a blast!
If you happened to tune into me today - apologies for my voice issues. I'm recovering from a cold, and still a bit raspy. The rest of the year can be ailment free now... ☺
Today I started the show off with Tanya Tagaq. I saw her live last week along with the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra, thanks to some lovely pals o' mine who generously snagged me a ticket. All I have to say is wow. What an experience for the senses - so beyond captivating. I think I sat there with my mouth agape the whole time. It was lovely to see a drum group, and a drum and flute duo perform alongside as well.
